We had the privilege of serving the Lord as missionaries in the Vaupes region of Colombia. Upon leaving this precious place, we found that the Colombian christian and evangelical church was extremely apathetic in sending and supporting missionaries and lacked a vision for missions.

God placed in our hearts the call to plant churches which would learn very early on to support the ministries and the work of the Lord financially.  We arrived in Villavicencio in 1991 where God guided us to create a Christian School and opened the door to establish a radio program at one of the city’s radio stations.

In 1994 these two instruments: the Christian school and the radio program, gave rise to the planting of the first Betania de la Reforma Church, which to this day, has produced fruit with many church planting projects in Colombia and one in Ecuador.

We have worked from the beginning on the discipleship and theological training of leaders. By divine grace, several of the disciples became church planters and today, the Betania de la Reforma Presbytery of Colombia is totally functional.
